Welcome to Art Garments. Vintage means vintage and pre-loved pieces will likely show some signs of wear and may have minor flaws but we do our utmost to bring you quality pieces as well as measure, inspect and describe them thoroughly.
Sale Terms
All sales made through our website are considered final. We cherish the uniqueness and history behind each vintage item, which often means they come with their own stories and signs of previous love. While minor flaws and signs of wear are part of the vintage charm, we diligently inspect every piece to ensure we provide items of quality.
Colour Variance Notice
We strive to present our items as accurately as possible, but please be advised that slight variations in fabric colours may occur due to differences in photography lighting and computer monitor settings. We encourage our customers not to base their purchase decisions solely on the digital representation of an item's colour.
Sizing and Measurements
Understanding the importance of fit, we meticulously measure each item and provide detailed sizing information per listing. We recommend comparing these measurements with your own or those of a similar item you own to be confident in your purchase. This careful approach helps us minimise the need for returns due to sizing issues.
Return Policy
Given the unique nature of our items, including the vintage condition and the custom nature of our new made-to-order pieces, we do not accept returns. We ask for your understanding that this policy is in place due to the complexities and costs associated with return shipping.
Exceptional Circumstances
Should there be an exceptional case where a return might be considered, please note that the buyer will be responsible for all associated shipping costs. For any queries, or to discuss an exceptional circumstance, please reach out to us at exchange@artgarments.com.au.
Exchanges
In rare instances where an exchange may be allowed under exceptional circumstances, the item must be returned in its original condition, unworn or unused, with all tags attached, and, if applicable, in its original packaging. Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will communicate whether the exchange has been approved. If so, we will issue a store credit or a replacement item. Please be aware that the buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Should more than 15 business days pass since the approval of your return without further update, do not hesitate to contact us at exchange@artgarments.com.au.
