1989 Custom Made Silk Organza Sculptural Puff Dress
• Resplendent vintage wedding dress, custom made and completely singular, circa 1989
• I bought this off the bride herself who had it personally designed by Australian designer Desbina Collins (who has pieces in Australian Museums)
• It cost the equivalent of $10,000 of today's dollars
• A true work of art, silk organza throughout
• Fitted bodice with sculpted cups and structured lining
• Drop waist into a voluminous, layered circle skirt
• Skirt is 4 layers of silk organza and a Tea length that is just perfect
• Harlequin-energy pinwheel rosettes (these are just safety pinned on and could be moved however I've kept them in the designer's exact formation)
• Comes with matching rosette comb hair piece
• Back zip closure
• Has been professionally cleaned but some very light age spots remain, smallest signs of wear under arms. These would not show up in photos and no one would notice in real life but that is not to say they're not visible.
• Wonderful Bridal option, would be perfect for as an unconventional ceremony number or any peripheral events, Reception / Shower / Bachelorette / Elopement / Courthouse / Rehearsal
